One of my favorite open spaces for engagement photos has to be the environment of the ocean. Even better may be a cliffside overlooking the ocean! It is romantic, timeless, and allows the couple to be the focus while playing up a simple element of interest in the background. As a fashion obsessed film photographer, I love that Missy is on solid ground so can play up the advantage of high heels on camera, which is the perfect statement with her midi length red lace dress. This Palos Verdes Cliff was the perfect setting for Missy & Chris to romance and play amidst their film engagement session. The main thing I always look for in a session location is open air, simple background, and a space that promises a spectacular sunset. As we transitioned through natural poses, along with some dancing & walking, the sun only became more beautiful - until it finally fell behind the horizon.
